9:00 – Departure from the hotel
Meet at your hotel in Montreux and walk together to Montreux railway station.
9:30 – Train to Les Avants & Sonloup
Take the train from Montreux towards Les Avants, followed by the connecting mountain railway to Sonloup, enjoying beautiful views over the surrounding mountains and Lake Geneva.
10:30 – Start of the hike from Sonloup
Begin the hike from Sonloup and walk down towards Les Avants, following scenic mountain paths through the forest and countryside. The route then continues towards the upper section of the Chauderon Gorges, where the trail follows the gorge through a beautiful natural environment, with streams, waterfalls, rocks and dense forest.
12:30 – Visit to Echeregnes Farm
Arrive at Echeregnes Farm, a traditional organic farm set in the countryside above Montreux. Enjoy a private demonstration of traditional cheese making, followed by a tasting of a selection of the farm’s organic and artisanal products. This is an opportunity to discover local farming traditions and taste products made directly on the farm.
14:00 – Continue the hike through Chauderon Gorges
After the farm visit, continue the descent towards Montreux and complete the lower section of the Chauderon Gorges. The trail gradually leaves the mountain environment and leads back towards Montreux.
15:30 – Arrival in Montreux
Arrive in Montreux after completing the hike.
15:30–16:00 – Return to the hotel
Walk back to the hotel in Montreux, concluding the experience.
